Saturday Night Music: The Avett Brothers

I heard this coming down from Oregon last year, on one of the great Jefferson Public Radio programs. Now it's in my repertoire, and it really speaks to me. Let's send this out to the city of Detroit (apropos of the 3rd verse), that could use a little respect right now:

The American Human is written by Calvin Ross, a retired teacher who at various points in life has been a musician, woodworker, restaurateur, narrator, English teacher in Japan, novelist, technology journalist, and private tutor to Japanese children here in the U.S.
